FRP/GRP cross flow cooling tower
In a cross flow cooling tower, water flows vertically through the packing, while air flows horizontally through the water surface through louvers. Boiling water enters through gravity, while cold air passes through or, more precisely, rushes through the tower, comes into contact with water, and cools down.
Summary
Air does not need to enter through the water supply system. It allows hot water to be poured into a basin located at the top of the column above the packing to utilize gravity. When drifting objects flow out from the top, water can flow in to balance the water in the basin. The float determines the precise water level.
Cross flow cooling towers are most suitable for various types of industrial operations. Since these towers are not very large, they can be easily adjusted. They can be easily modified according to industry needs.
Components of cooling tower
The cross flow cooling tower consists of nozzles, pots, blades, air inlets, louvers, and water separators. Galvanized steel, stainless steel, fiberglass, and concrete are the most commonly used materials for building the tower. Plastics such as PVC and polypropylene are typically used to fill each component, which is carefully designed to provide sufficient support while also improving product performance and achieving maximum air and water flow. The surface area of the cross flow cooling tower is relatively large, making it easy to perform physical maintenance and inspection.
